I do like this skirt, but I think it looks more straight than pencil. I have an hourglass shape and to fit my hips it didn't go quite as high as I'd like on my waist as is the style now to wear pencil skirts cinched with a wide belt at the waist with your top tucked in. I'll probably end up getting it tailored a bit or wearing it with a shell/blouse over the top hem. Because the fabric is not really high quality it tends to wrinkle quite a bit and needs pressing after / before wearing, but all and all I'd say it's a good purchase for the price. Very versatile and a classic piece.

Keep in mind, this skirt costs [very little] and for the price, you cannot do better. It is an excellent fit for someone with an hourglass figure-- it is extremely flattering on larger hips. Fits pretty true to size and is a good lenth for a woman of average height. The Polyesther lining is a little shoddy, but then again, its [inexpensive].

The model above doesn't show the skirt's full potential... I recommend this skirt for a person with an hourglass figure and small waist.

I've always struggled to find a perfect pencil skirt that had a more feminine design.

Be proud of your curves and show it off with this skirt! The pleats on the back are very sexy, but discrete.

This skirt is made unevenly - the back is about five (!!!) inches longer than the front part, and it's not a matter of having a round or flat butt. the pleats are waaaay overdone and create an illusion of something that totally doesn't belong there. i returned the skirt right away.

I love this skirt. It is very well made with quality material. the back pleats are so feminine. Pair it with sexy heel or wedge anklestraps! It's a slim fit and looks great. I'm a size 10 and fits nicely from the hips down. The waist is a little big for a size 10 but still very happy with purchase.
